Ok after reading the first book in Sandford's Lucas Davenport 'Prey' series 'Rules Of The Prey" I was actually loooking forward to reading the next instalment. However when starting this book, i read the opening segment and found out Sandofrd has actually meant for this book to be a political statement on the treatment on North American indians. That alone should've sent up enough red flags in my mind not to continue. I started reading on anyhow, willing to give the benefit of the doubt to the book. Boring with a capital B!! I do not like when i pick up a book and only after a few chapters in i cannot stand it any longer and decide to put it down. Although i will say that this doesn't happen to me much as i am very careful in the books i select, only chancing on new authors after extensive research on their books by reading reviews, book synopsis etc. Therefore eliminating this sort of thing happening all the time.
I'll end this not so good review with a question?? Will i say 'bug it' and read book #3 in the Prey series? Time will tell, but i will say this much, i am not a one strike and you're out kind of reader, that being said lets just hope 'Eyes Of Prey' will be better as i actually like the Lucas Davenport charector enough to try it again.
