As i journey through my current mission to read every single Patterson book known to man kind...I found 'The Quickie' interesting title i might add which almost (and i did say almost)threw me off as the title alone made me think of some sort of Harlequin Romance novel of sorts, even though it was one of Jim's books. after finishing this novel i should've known better with the risk of sounding redundant, Patterson books keep getting better and better. It's hard to give away the storyline or synopsis if you will without divulging a few spoilers so i'll make it as breif as possible fer ya.
Wife sees husband enter a hotel with an unknown female accomplice right away assuming he is cheating on her, goes and has her own fling thingy with a coworker of her own. Witnesses her p/t lover getting murdered risks her job trying to cover it up. Finds out her husband is not whom she thinks he is and whole lot of plot twists that i cannot divulge at this given time. Hey!! I hate spoilers as well and would'nt appreciate reading a review containg spoilers so i type out my reviews with the same sensitivity 'kept in mind.
I swear all Patterson books that i have read so far are much better then going to the movies. God only knows they entertain me way more then whats being offered in the cinemas these days! An overall great read yet once again from the master of crime thrillers!
